Has it become impossible to enforce foreign arbitral awards in Russia?
I have published about the recognition rate of foreign arbitral awards in Russia several times, latest as an editorial in RIW 7/2009 and before that with a full statistic of recognition of foreign arbitral awards in Russia in the years 2015 – 2018 in DRRZ 2018,147 et seq. The latest position was that in the first 6 months of 2018, recognition rate of foreign arbitral awards dropped to only about 61%.
