The German-Russian Lawyers’ Association (Working Group on Procedural Law and Arbitration as well as the Regional Group Hamburg) will hold a lecture event (in English) on 02 September 2014, at 6.30 p.m., followed by a regulars’ table on the following topic:
“Current Developments in Arbitration Law in Russia in the Light of Case Law of the Past Years and the Current Legislative Reform”.
The speaker will be Mr. Dmitry Davydenko, lawyer and lecturer from Moscow. The moderator will be Mr. Dmitry Marenkov, member of the DRJV board and coordinator of the DRJV working group on procedural law and arbitration.
Mr Davydenko is a senior associate at the law firm Muranov Chernyakov & Partners in Moscow and has worked in the field of arbitration law and litigation for many years. He also regularly acts as a secretary in arbitration proceedings before the International Commercial Arbitration Court of the RF CCI (ICAC/MKAS) and the Maritime Arbitration Commission (MAC) and is an editor of the internet portal CIS Arbitration Forum.
He will give an initiative lecture on current Russian jurisprudence in the field of arbitration, including the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards and the reform of arbitration law currently under discussion in Russia. There will be an opportunity for discussion afterwards.
The lecture will be held in English, questions and contributions to the discussion can also be made in Russian or German.
