Regulars’ table with introduction

Dear friends of Russian law

After another meeting could not take place at the end of 2008, I would like to invite you to the next VdrW regulars’ table Rhine-Main:

We want to meet on Friday, 27 February 2009, first at 7 p.m. in the offices of the law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (Bockenheimer Anlage 44, 60322 Frankfurt am Main, Tel.: 069/ 27 30 80). Due to current events, the topic of the evening will be:

“The reform of Russian limited liability company law”.

I will be happy to give an introduction with an overview of the changes that were passed in a rush at the end of 2008; further contributions on this topic are very welcome.

This will certainly be followed by another lively discussion.

We should also talk about the 2nd VdrW Corporate Law Day Russia planned for the summer of 2009 in the Rhine-Main area. Suggestions and ideas are very welcome – also in advance, of course.

Afterwards (around 8.00 p.m./8.30 p.m.) we would like to round off the evening in a cosy atmosphere. The nearby restaurant “Neuer Volkswirt” (Kleine Hochstraße 9,

60313 Frankfurt; Tel.: 069/ 21 99 83 93). If you have to work beforehand, you can of course join us there.

It would be nice if on 27.02.2008 we would again be a large group that enjoys discussion. Our mailing list is constantly growing. Therefore, please pass on this invitation to people interested in Russian law (or in Russia) or simply bring such people with you.
