The German-Russian Lawyers’ Association e.V. will hold a conference on

Wednesday, 31 October 2012

from 9.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m,

a lecture event in Russian (with simultaneous translation) on the subject of transport, forwarding and insurance law in Russia, Belarus, Latvia and Ukraine.

The event is recognised by the Hanseatic Bar Association Hamburg as further training according to § 15 FAO for specialist lawyers for transport and forwarding law (5 hours net). Certificates of attendance will be issued.

9.30 a.m. – 10.00 a.m. : Welcome and introduction (Ms. Cornelia Kahl, Hamburg Chamber of Commerce) ,(Dr. Axel Boës, Grützmacher – Gravert – Viegener, Hamburg) , (Florian Roloff, RAe Steiner & Roloff, Board of Directors of the Association for German-Russian Business Law).

 

10.00 – 10.45 a.m. : Freight Forwarder Liability in Russia

10.45 a.m. – 11.30 a.m. : Case Law of the Supreme Economic Court of the Russian Federation on Carrier and Freight Forwarder Liability

11.30 – 11.45 : Coffee break

 

11.45 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. : Forwarding and transport insurance in Russia

12.30 – 13.15 : Latvia – Court practice in recourse against forwarding agents and insurance companies

Participation in the event costs € 140.00 for DRJV members, € 190.00 for non-members (the annual DRJV membership fee is € 50.00 if you join the association at the same time, the membership fee will be charged).

Food and drinks during breaks are included.
