The German-Russian Lawyers’ Association cordially invites you to the meeting of the Munich Regional Group of the DRJV on 7 October 2015 at 7.00 p.m. in the offices of the law firm Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH, Karlstr. 10-12, 80333 Munich.
At this event, Dr Janine Rechel will speak on the topic of “Sanctions against Russia – An Overview with Practical Report”.
Dr Janine Rechel has been General Counsel of the AEG Power Solutions Group, which also has an OOO in Russia, since 2011. She also previously worked for Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft in Munich, where she was involved in the Russian Desk, among other things.
During the lecture, Ms Rechel will, among other things, give a practical overview of export restrictions in general and in relation to Russia. In doing so, she will not only discuss German foreign trade law and the EU context, but also comment on US sanctions and their relationship to EU law. The lecture will also include a short practical report on the importance of export rules in the context of a group’s compliance and an indication of the risks.
After the lecture, we will finish the evening at the restaurant L’Osteria in the Künstlerhaus, Lenbachplatz 8. The table is reserved from 8.15 pm. All those who cannot make it to the lecture are welcome to come directly to the restaurant.
