Berlin DRJV regulars’ table with lecture

The German-Russian Lawyers Association (DRJV) cordially invites you to the following event on Tuesday, 8 September 2015: Lecture followed by a Berlin Stammtisch “The DRJV meets the German Research Foundation DFG – German-Russian research in times of crisis”.

History and outlook – funding and cooperation

Speaker: Dr. Christian Schaich, Director Group International Cooperation

Dr. Schaich studied in Passau, Odessa and Berlin. He did his doctorate on the topic of “Executive norm-setting in the Russian Federation”. He was head of the DFG’s Moscow Representative Office from 2005 to 2008 and has been head of the DFG’s Central and Eastern Europe Division since 2009. He is also active in training programmes for Russian judges and in legal advisory projects on administrative law in Central Asia.

Dr. Schaich will give a keynote speech. Participants will then have the opportunity for discussion. Afterwards, we will conclude the evening in a Bavarian restaurant in the run-up to the Oktoberfest.
